All my friends are having babies

I know the Skyhooks sang all my friends are getting married but now they have all moved on a ways and there's a baby boom happening out there. This year Julian and Corinne, Cath andDave, Padraig and Grace, Nat and Gav, Tim and Kim and our neighbours Sally and Gary have all had babies. I suspect for them Christmas will take on new meaning, especially if the photos are anything to go by.

We had the big van der Peet family lunch yesterday here in Williamstown. Today Matt and Erin and Phill and Jane have gone to visit Erin and Jane's families. Frank and I took Dad for a drive down to Geelong where we had a picnic lunch in the park. It was a bit windy but Dad enjoyed it none the less. He always seems to get a lot of pleasure from watching the little kids and toddlers. We were a bit worried he might want to take Mona (his new lady friend) with us but she went home with her family for Christmas lunch which meant there wasn't a problem.
