Girls'night out

Last Friday I went to the Comedy Ball in Stawell with some of the girls from work and some of the guys from work's partners. Jean Kitson was the MC and she was hilarious, haven't laughed so much for ages. She was also very friendly. She came up and introduced herself before the night started and later autographed a copy of Beyond the Smoke for me.


It was the final event for the Grampians fires 2006 Bushfire Recovery. It was a fun night, lots to drink, the police band (who were very good and played lots of dance music) and lots of dancing. They even arranged a bus to pick us up and bring us home, and then as Graeme's wife Danielle was on the bus I got a lift right to the front door, how's that for service? Anyway I thought I'd put up a photo and post to the blog as I've had a few complaints about my being slack :-)
