I’d like to think that perhaps spring is on the way. I don’t mind the rain so much but gosh it feels cold after Thailand. The caesia in the garden is flowering and looks great.

Up at McKenzie Falls there are dozens of Common Hovea seedlings and they look very pretty.

I’m not quite sure what these ducks on next door’s block were trying to do, hopefully not nest in there as their balance looked somewhat precarious.

I was over at Natimuk on Wednesday helping to count plants – my but it was cold – anyway there were some very handsome white-fronted chats who weren’t happy with us. We discovered why – they had a nest hidden in the dianella. How pretty are these eggs?
