Summerday Valley

We went for a climb at Summerday Valley today.
Anni started on a grade 7, then moved to a grade 9 and then finished up on a grade 11 - Wax Man.
She also did some belaying as you can see from the photos.
It was quite a hot day - around 31C or more so we tried to stick to the shade as much as possible.




Frank did all the hard work leading and belaying the girls from the top in the sun.

Zwartje has been foolishly leaving her food uneaten. Needless to say thaat the local Kookaburras, Magpies and Currawongs didn't take long to realise this. So far the funniest sight has been a Kookaburra trying to kill a (already deceased) ckicken wing by beating it against a branch. Then again he could just have been trying to break a bit off as it was too large to swallow whole!
