Quick update
I've been a bit slack recently but my excuse is that work is very busy with flora surveys etc. (we have had 2 fires already) and we are getting ready to move from 2 houses (Williamstown and Bellfield) into the one house in Halls Gap.
Frank is currently working 2 days a week in Melbourne for BEA and will probably continue to do this for about 3 months. He has also had his interview, medical and fitness test for summer fire crew and looks like going on the week long fire camp at the end of this month.
Settlement date for the Halls Gap house is Friday 17th November, and auction date for our investment property in Williamstwon is Sat 18th November. We hope to use the funds from this for Halls Gap, providing it sells of course.
Frank and I are off down to Melbourne again for another weekend of sorting out cupboards and generally sifting through around 25 years of accumulated belongings. The Salvation Army are doing very well out of us :-)
Frank is going to move what remains of my stuff at Bellfield into the Halls Gap house on Sat 18th while I am at work. One of my workmates has offered the use of a trailer and a pair of helping hands. I sold most of the stuff I bought on ebay, for just slightly less than what I paid for it, which was much cheaper than paying another $15 a week to rent the place furnished.
The removalists are coming to pack up and shift our belongings from Williamstwon on Tuesday 21st November to move them into Halls Gap on Wed 22nd Nov. I'm having Friday 24th November off to help unpack. Hopefully the shed we're having built will be finished by 22/11 or I don't know where we're going to put all the stuff as things like filing cabinets, treadmills, sewing machines and Frank's thousands of books will have to go into the shed.
Anyway best get back to work now. Until next time .....
