The Eagle's Nest - Chunkapur

The plan was that we would go to Mukti's Eagle's Nest Environment Centre on the Sunday to have lunch and dinner, try out the camping gear and discuss options for the trek. It started to rain heavily not long after we arrived and it was still bucketing down about 3 hours later.

Carol wasn't feeling the best after lunch, thinking that perhaps the chips had disagreed with her but alas no it was the start of a very nasty bout of gastro. This meant that she was stuck in the tent feeling like death while I was presented with an early birthday present and a cake. It wasn't what we had planned, and although it was very thoughtful of Mukti it wasn't the same without Carol there.
