The Big Move

Well it's been a really long day but thanks to Frank, Matt, Erin, and Carol nearly all the things I'll need for the next 10 or 11 months are now in Halls Gap. . We started early collecting the truck from Sunshine at around 8.30am. Then back to Williamstown to collect a few things.

Carol gave me a lovely mug for the new office.

Frank, Matt, Erin, Carol and I loaded up the truck with an assortment of beds, for those visitors I'm expecting :-) and well OK LOTS of other stuff.
Once the truck was full and the last item squeezed aboard Frank, Matt and I headed off. we got as far as Beaufort before we had to stop to get the circulation back into our numb bums and grab a bite to eat. The pies from the French cafe were very tasty but not quite as substantial as Matt and Frank might have liked.

The guys backed the truck right up to the verandah which was just as well as it started to rain again as we were unloading. But it's all in there now and looks pretty cosy.

Still have some groceries to buy and a bit more unpacking to do, but thanks to everyone's help I'm ready to start work on Tuesday, and the bed is already made (as per my Mum's rules) ready to collapse into when I get home :-)
