More photos from the five days at Rawnsley Park

I realised looking back at what I had posted that I had left out some great photos.For example the day we did the Bunyeroo Gorge walk we walked a bit further than planned but we saw some amazing old trees like this one in the photo.

These are of course also popular with the local wildlife.

Although they don't suit one of the bigger birds and his family which we saw alongside the road. We were amazed at how rocky and skinny some of the walking tracks were that were obviously being used by emus though (the poo was a dead give away).

We were walking up a very long hill (called funnily enough Long Hill) when another male emu and 2 chicks burst out of the bush beside us and headed off up the main track. Not the smartest of birds but very dedicated dads!
