We decided to head over to the Flinders Ranges for a while as I had 2 weeks leave before the silly season starts. As per usual other commitments turned that into a 10 day break. We stopped at Hattah Kulkyne National Park on the way. There was a mass of white flowers (haven’t identified them yet either) – note to self must pack flora, bird and reptile id books for the next trip.

We did a 10km walk through the park looking at the wildflowers. We noticed there were some very distressed looking red gums, and we saw they also had a feral goat problem like we do in the Grampians as we spotted a small herd of 6 on our drive out.

There were an absolute mass of butterflies and bees around and Frank managed to catch some with the camera.
