Flora and fauna
Some photos from the past few days. I have walked in to check on the Spiral sun-orchids four times now but the flowers still elude me. Not so Mike (you bastard) he saw them flowering near Serra Road today! I did see a pretty neat stumpy tail today though :-)
The little green and white space age looking little feller is a dwarf greenhood. (Love the antenna!)
The pretty white flower with the red centre is Grampians Thryptomene, you can see why it sis grown for the commercial flower industry.
That's not holly, although the leaves look uncannily famialiar, it's actually Variable Prickly Grevillea.
And of course then there was the stumpy tail. I have lots more, but don't want to bore you too soon.
