Relaxing weekends

Well it was another nice weekend spent just chilling out with Frank. We wandered around Ararat for a while on Saturday morning, doing a little shopping. Then Saturday afternoon I worked on the last uni assignment while Frank watched the Swans vs West Coast match on TV. Sunday I did some more on the assignment in the morning while Frank caught up on some reading, then in the afternoon we headed off to Boronia Peak. Only did one climb but it was good despite the rather sizeable chunk of rock that came off in Frank’s hand (even though he had been closely scrutinizing for loose rocks) and it proved his gear placement was good :-) We did a bit more exploring but couldn’t locate the other rock face mentioned in the guide in the rather dense trees.
Frank has headed off back to Willy and I start seven straight days of work today, with my first weekend on patrol duty next weekend when Matt, Erin, Jamie, Catherine, Tim and Kim come to stay. I hope the weather is kind to us all. Big dinner party planned for Saturday night :-)
