Friday - NT wildlife park and Mandorah

I decided I was waterfall and rockpool sated and as we hadn't seen much local wildlife except the birds we headed off for the NT wildlife park. We spent a very pleasant 4 or 5 hours walking around the 6kms of tracks looking at everything. The nocturnal house and the series of aviaries were particulalry impressive, but I was disappointed that some of the snakes and lizards weren't there, they had gone to the Darwin Show!
The hotel at Mandorah across the bay from Darwin was in a great spot but a bit run down (although clean). We had a surpisingly good meal and watched the sunset.
