Wednesday - Litchfield (Wangi & Florence Falls)
Driving through Litchfield and in fact most of the area we visited you see lots of signs like these below. Does anyone else think they're a little ironic?

We made a quick visit to Wangi but there were way too many people. So we visited Florence Falls and Tolmer Falls instead.
In the afternoon we went for a walk along Walker Creek and checked out the bush campsites. I was amazed that they allowed people to camp so close to the creek but they have very good signage telling people what they should and shouldn't do. Whether they observe the signs or not is another matter. There was no-one using any of the campsites when we were there perhaps the walk in (from 600m to around a kilometre) carrying all your stuff put people off.
We checked them all out and decided that had we been better equipped we would have chosen campsite 3 as the swimming hole was awesome if you didn't mind the fishes taking a gentle nibble.
